Apterous World Cup
The Apterous World Cup was a tournament organised by Matt Morrison during Summer 2010 to coincide with the FIFA World Cup occurring at the same time. 32 players were allocated the 32 teams competing in the World Cup, with their rankings according to the Apterous ratings being matched to the team's rankings according to their official FIFA ratings. The players would then play the games their teams would in the real World Cup.
The format used for the tournament would be a custom game devised by Matt Morrison especially for the tournament.
