CountGen is a computer program created by Charlie Reams, inspired by a previous program created by Paul Howe. It automatically generates letters and numbers games using the same specifications as the televised show. It doesn't simply generate random letters selections, it generates similar letters selections to the televised show by using an algorithm to avoid the letters like J, K, Q, X and Z coming out in the same letters selections. The program also gives maximums for the letters selections. CountGen is currently part of The Countdown Database.
