John Carmichael was a contestant in Series 36. He was a 55-year-old Computer Programmer, originally from Glasgow, but living in Solihull, West Midlands. He was originally invited to appear in Series 32 a year earlier, but was working overseas at the time, so was re-invited a year later and made his sole appearance on the show in Series 36.
