He began his run in the last heat of Series 73, beating four-time winner Jamie Collyer on the crucial conundrum SLIMENEMY to beat Collyer 85 – 68. He returned after stepping aside for the series finals and Championship of Champions XIV. Despite declaring numerous words that were not listed in the selection, he breezed through the heats and finished with a points tally of 717.
