Jonathan Seal was a contestant in Series 61 and 87. He was originally from Surrey but now lives in London. He is also an Apterite.
He made his initial debut in 2009, where he was given a very tough proposition in the form of eventual octochamp and series champion Chris Davies, who after a close start eventually overpowered Seal.
But, almost 14 years later, Seal came back, and this time got a teapot by dispatching Apterite and 4-time winner Adam Blundred. He saw off four more opponents before ultimately coming unstuck against yet another tough customer; that being fellow Apterite, and again an eventual series champion in Ronan Higginson. Despite scoring his joint-highest points total in his last game, and his overall high-scoring run for 6 games, Seal ultimately missed out on qualifying for the series finals.
