Mulvey's score of 133 is the highest ever achieved by a player who did not go on to reach the finals in the "old" 15-round format (he retired unbeaten after this episode for personal reasons) – Zarte Siempre then scored 137 under the "new" 15-round format in his five-win run in Series 69, though Siempre was allowed to return in Series 78 in which he became series champion.
