Episode 6054 was broadcast on 17 December 2014, and was the first semi-final of Series 71.
Dan McColm played George Ford, with Dan McColm winning 123 – 77. The Dictionary Corner guest was David Baddiel, and the lexicographer was Susie Dent.
McColm's perfect game was only the tenth in the history of Countdown, and the first to be achieved in the "new" 15-round format.
