Viraj Seelam

Viraj Seelam was an octochamp in Series 88. He was a Film and Television Production undergraduate at the University of East Anglia, originally from Orpington in the London Borough of Bromley. He is also an Apterite.

Seelam made his debut on 8 November 2023 against Jill Leatherbarrow, where a nine-letter word spot helped him carve out a 113-point win to Leatherbarrow's 67. From here, he continued to score highly, with a total of seven centuries and a personal best of 125 points in his seventh match.

He wrapped up his run on 17 November to become an octochamp with 867 points, making him the likely #2 seed for the finals in December 2023.
