Episode 5179
From Countdown
Revision as of 08:36, 11 January 2011 by JRTerrier24 (talk | contribs)
Episode 5179 was broadcast on 10 January 2011, as part of Series 64.
Mike Pickering played Karen Conduit, with Mike Pickering winning 77 – 58. The Dictionary Corner guest was Tim Vine, and the lexicographer was Susie Dent.
This was also the first episode in which the Oxford Dictionary of English (3rd Edition) was used. Notably, both Teatime Teasers as well as the conundrum were new additions to this dictionary, and thus this was the first ever episode where they were valid.
