8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown Series 11, Episode 3 was a special episode broadcast on 8 June 2017, as part of 8 out of 10 Cats Mash-ups Series 11. This was the 2017 UK Snap General Election special as well.

This was also the first episode to feature the new Countdown studio which has been used from Series 77 onwards. There was also a change in the format where the third Teaser was removed and Round 6 was replaced with a Numbers Game.

8 Out of 10 Cats regular Jon Richardson was a contestant, along with Sarah Millican who were against acting team captain Alan Carr and Romesh Ranganathan, while Jimmy Carr reprised his role as the host.

The match saw Jon Richardson, with the assistance of Sarah Millican, winning by 41 – 22 in an 7-rounder.

Rachel Riley was the arithmetician for this episode. The Dictionary Corner guest was John Kearns, and the lexicographer was Susie Dent.

Interesting and notable moments from the episode are listed below:

1) Just before Round 1, Jon's prop was a rosette making reference to the "Countdown Party" as well as "Wetwang Constituency", in tribute to Richard Whiteley, Also, he said if elected he would change the UK's National Anthem to the Countdown music with the lyrics "This is Britain" repeated. Also, Sarah's dog made an appearance on the show as her prop.

2) During the 30 seconds in Round 1, Jimmy studied how to make a Rosette but ended up "making" a larger than usual one with "Vote Jimmy" in the middle of it, of which the centre had a hole which could fit his head. Interestingly, Round 1's letters had the anagram JONMADEIT which was shown.

3) Romesh's declaration in Round 3 holds a distinction of him misdeclaring it as an 8, the word being invalid as well as the letter "N" not being in the selection.

NOTE: In this version, both players' declarations were allowed, although points were only awarded for the best answer.

NOTE: In Round 4, Jon did not specify how he obtained one of the "25"s, although it is assumed he did it by subtracting 50 from 75.
