Series 1 of the 8 out of 10 Cats Mash-ups was a series of 6 special episodes that began on 26 July 2013 and ended on 20 September 2013, with an 80's special.

The show was originally shown as part of a "Mash-Up" series celebrating Channel 4's 30th birthday in 2012. The show is a fusion of the shows, Countdown and 8 out of 10 Cats.

4 shows had been broadcast, and following the success of these 4 episodes, a 6-episode series was commissioned by Channel 4 in June 2013.
