The 2012 Apterous Masters was an online tournament run by Ben Wilson between February and April 2012, and the fifth 'Masters' tournament. 17 of the best players from the show, Apterous and real-life events accepted their invitation to play in a knock-out tournament against each other and a group of 'wildcard' entries, 15 of whom reached the tournament proper via a qualifying round. In total, 42 people participated in the tournament.
