In 2015, more than six years after Countdown left Leeds, BoxPizza closed and was replaced with an outlet of the American Domino's Pizza chain.

The legend of BoxPizza began during Charlie Reams's heats. In a drunken moment of divine exaltation, the Vision Mixer recommended BoxPizza to Charlie and the erogenicc Jon O'Neill; it was a recommendation that c4countdown members would act upon. After the very first bite of the pizza, they never looked back, and the word was spread forthwith.
