COHUD 2014 was run by James Robinson and Jeff Clayton on Saturday 15th November 2014. 22 people attended for the third Countdown in Huddersfield, held at the PPG Canalside, the training complex of Huddersfield Town F.C.. The event was won by Series 66 champion Jack Worsley, who beat Series 69 champion Callum Todd in the 20-round final 151 – 144.

In a change with regular events, a different format was used for the majority of the day.

At the beginning of the day, the players played a 20-round "qualifier", made up of 12 letters rounds, 6 numbers rounds and 2 conundrums. Then, the players played seven 10-rounders, before a 20-round grand final took place. The 10-rounders used the 1/0 winners only format, meaning only winning answers scored a point, and losing answers scored no points.
