The Apterous Summer 2009 tournaments were a series of four tournaments held concurrently on the Apterous website from June 22 through July 26, 2009, organised by Andrew Feist. The "main" tournament was the Apterous Summer Open, which was open to all; there were also three ratings-restricted tournaments, one open to those with ratings under 1200, one to those with ratings under 1000, and one to those with ratings under 800. Players could enter any or all of these tournaments (provided they were eligible).
