Cillian McMulkin

Cillian McMulkin was a contestant in Series 65 and 87. At the time of his appearances, he was a Risk Analyst from Belfast and has also been an Apterite since 2009, managing to reach the top 20 in the Apterous pro rank leaderboard.

Debuting midway through Jeff Stelling's last series, McMulkin fell 14 points short of victory to would-be octochamp Dave Taylor, despite getting the last word by solving the conundrum. Thankfully, he was allowed to return over 11 years later; this time starting his run against 7-timer winner Peter Burke in an all-Ireland affair. McMulkin was not beaten this time, winning 66 – 107 to deny Burke's octochamp-dom and kick off with a century.
