Episode 25 was broadcast on 14 December 1982, as part of Series 1.
Jane McLeman played Maurice Daniels, with the game ending in a 41-all draw. The Dictionary Corner guest was Kenneth Williams, the lexicographer was Mary, and the arithmetician was Carol Vorderman.
The conundrum scramble remained unrevealed until the clock had already been ticking for 2 seconds, due to Cathy Hytner not pulling the lever that revealed it until then.
