Episode 4511

From Countdown
Revision as of 13:32, 4 December 2015 by Crucible72 (talk | contribs) (factoid)

Episode 4511 was broadcast on 4 January 2008, as part of Series 58.

Gayle Smith played Grant Watson, with Grant Watson winning 94 – 73. The Dictionary Corner guest was Roger Cook, and the lexicographer was Alison Heard.

According to Carol Vorderman, round 12 of this game is the closest there's ever been to having an 8 letter word spelled out in the random letter selection, as moving the first R by one position gives the word STREAKER. As this was the longest word available, this was arguably the easiest random letters game in Countdown history.
