This episode is notable for two reasons: firstly, it featured a joint score of 252 points, the highest ever achieved in the new 15-round format as well as the second highest full stop; additionally, Platt's losing score of 125 was the highest of all time, beating the prior record (jointly held by Matthew Shore and Chris Davies) by a full eight points.
