Reverend George Greenhough first appeared in series 48 on 1st November, 2002. He quickly rattled off 8 wins to become an octochamp and the series' #3 seed, missing out on being #2 seed by just a couple of points. However, he was beaten in the quarter-final by fellow octochamp Joe Zubaidi. He was the reserve player for Championship of Champions XI, but wasn't needed for the tournament.
