Grace Page was the runner-up of Series 48, losing to Julian Fell in the final.
She won 8 heat games with scores ranging between 90 and 120. In one game she got two nine letter words - FLAGSTONE and INSPECTED. She qualified as #2 seed (some way behind Julian Fell with 924 points), but beat David Nickeas only narrowly in the quarter-final, before beating Joe Zubaidi more convincingly in their semi-final. In the final, the numbers #1 and #2 seeds matched up against each other. Page made a bad start, missing CREMATION in the first round and never recovered despite beating Fell with KNITWEAR and the final numbers game.
