Grace Page was the runner-up of Series 48, losing to Julian Fell in the final.

She won 8 heat games with scores ranging between 90 and 120. In one game she got two nine letter words - FLAGSTONE and INSPECTED. She qualified as #2 seed (some way behind Julian Fell with 924 points), but beat David Nickeas only narrowly in the quarter-final, before beating Joe Zubaidi more convincingly in their semi-final. In the final, the numbers #1 and #2 seeds matched up against each other. Page made a bad start, missing CREMATION in the first round and never recovered despite beating Fell with KNITWEAR and the final numbers game. Page appeared in the Championship of Champions XI, losing to Rupert Stokoe of Series 47 by just 10 points. Page was the first woman to score over 800 points in eight heat games.
