Hypercountdown, derived largely from what was known as Countdown Advanced, is a variant of Countdown that is typically always played over MSN Messenger.

Differences with Regular Countdown

Each round of Hypercountdown is designed to be an increase in difficulty and complexity from regular Countdown. Letters games and conundrums contain 12 letters instead of 9, numbers games have 8 numbers instead of 6, and a 4-digit target to reach. However, to compensate, each round has 45 seconds' thinking time instead of the usual 30. Hypercountdown is available on Apterous.
