Jack Hurst was an octochamp in Series 63.

He won all 8 of his matches, achieving 8 centuries and accrued 946 points, the highest total for any octochamp in the history of the show, beating the previous record set by Andrew Hulme in Series 61. Hurst was also the fifth player in history to score centuries in all eight of his heat games, appearing only a few weeks after the previous one, Eoin Monaghan.

Before appearing on the show, Jack attended unofficial Countdown tournaments COLIN 2010 and CoLei Summer Special.
