He scored 665 points during his octochamp run. Zubaidi made his first appearance on 21 November 2002, with a victory over Ian Courcoux. Zubaidi's 665 points were enough to secure the position of #6 seed for the series finals.
It was in his quarter-final against George Greenhough that Zubaidi scored 94, the highest that he achieved out of any of his games. However, Zubaidi couldn't maintain that level of scoring in the semi-final, falling to Grace Page by 104 points to 71.
