Jon Stitcher was a contestant in Series 52. He managed to string together three victories in total, demonstrating consistency by always winning by slim margins and never scoring outside the 80s. Each of his 3 victories were on crucial conundrums. In his fourth game, Jon Stitcher found himself up against Jack Welsby, who proved slightly too strong for him, winning by a margin of 37 points despite Jon leading at the half way stage after finding IMAGAYBOY. This part of countdown was famous for many reasons, Jon's 9 letter word for a start, Jack finding the interesting word DICKHEADS, Jack solving a very difficult numbers game where he needed to get to 924 with six small numbers but most excitingly of all, the teatime teaser was URAWANKER, the following round the letters were YOOZACUNT with the longest possible word being JAZZYGAY!
Some of Stitcher's more "creative" offerings include SUCKDICK, GIRATES, F**KED and C**TS.
He played in JOLT, one of the first online tournaments, and reached the final, reaching a crucial conundrum against Julian Fell.
Jon regards himself as the best looking player in living memory, and is now a professional poker player.
He was known for posting the answer before the contestants and shitting up MSN games.
