Les Dennis is a guest on and stand-in presenter of Countdown. He is a comedian, all-round national treasure, actor and TV presenter, most famous for presenting the game show Family Fortunes for 15 years. He hosted eight programmes of Series 86, after Colin Murray tested positive for COVID-19.

Dennis was also paid tribute to on Countdown with the conundrum scramble LLESDENYS in the episode broadcast on 18th October 2017, in which he was not involved.
