She was the first woman to appear on Channel 4, unbeknown to many, who think that Carol Vorderman was the first woman. In fact, a glimpse of Mary is shown when Ted Moult introduces his "assistant". She appeared throughout Series 1 and may possibly have appeared in Series 2 as well.
