Maureen Grabham was a finalist in Series 24. Grabham had the eighth highest total score among Series 24 contestants. However, due to Series 23 contestant Fiona Davies, who had been unavailable for the Series 23 finals, being entered into the Series 24 finals at short notice, she was placed into a qualifying playoff against Davies, the winner of which was to be declared the #8 seed of Series 24. The playoff was done for the #8 seed spot despite Davies having enough wins and points to be the #5 seed of Series 24.
