Mike Jones was a contestant in Series 39. He was a 46-year-old factory worker from Margam, Port Talbot. Prior to appearing on Countdown, he had previously been a contestant on the BBC gameshow Going For Gold in 1991.
He is notable for being only one of 2 contestants to play against a contestant who failed to score in a game.
