Morgan Sauer was an octochamp in Series 81. He's a Maths and Management Student at the University of Leicester, from Peterborough. He first appeared on November 4 2019 against Sarah Buchanan and took off with a strong 81 points. Garnering 775 points during his run, he qualified for the finals as number 4 seed.

Sauer returned for the finals and faced Andy Evans, the 5th seed, in the last quarterfinal of the series. Sauer played nip and tuck with Evans and eventually went ahead before Evans bounced back with strong word plays and was ultimately ahead by two points and solving the last number points to be ahead by 7 points.
