Paul Erdunast was an octochamp in Series 74. Notably, he was only the 8th octochamp in Countdown history to have solved all 8 conundrums in his heat games. In addition, Erdunast's aggregate winning margin over his eight heat opponents was 625 points, a close second to Dylan Taylor's 628. He will return in June 2016 for the series finals
