Paul Sinha is a guest on Countdown. He is a comedian, doctor, quizzer and broadcaster, best known for being one of the six Chasers on the ITV game show The Chase, along with Mark Labbett, Anne Hegerty, Shaun Wallace, Jenny Ryan and Darragh Ennis.

Sinha is also an Apterite, the first such Dictionary Corner guest, and has appeared at CobliviLon II and CO:LON:2. Notably, in Round 8 of his appearance in Episode 8038, he commented that he knew the maxes MANITOU and TINAMOU from "having them played against him in online Countdown", a clear reference to Apterous.
