Peter Bennett

Peter Bennett was a contestant in Series 60.
He came up against Kirk Bevins in Bevins' fourth game and had to face three nine-letter words from his opponent. In round 14, Bennett picked four large numbers which put Bevins' potential score of 143 in jeopardy. Bevins only scored 7 points on that round, but failed to get the conundrum. Bennett's choice of four large was seen as "unsporting" by many viewers.
As mentioned on the show, Bennett has appeared on no fewer than 8 other quiz shows, including Fifteen-to-One and Mastermind. He later appeared on Eggheads in 2015.
