Phil Watson

Phil Watson was a finalist in Series 55.

He qualified for the series finals thanks to 6 wins, and met #1 seed Steven Briers in the quarter-final. Watson had a ten-point lead going into the conundrum, which nobody could solve. However, he lost in the semi-final to eventual runner-up Tony Warren on another crucial conundrum.

After Briers' win at the Championship of Champions XIII, Watson is the only player ever to beat Briers in the 13 games that Briers played.
