Philip Aston
Philip Aston is a regular Apterite who made his online tournament debut in the sixth edition of AptoSOS against the event's organiser Matt Morrison, losing his only game by four points. He has passed his audition and is likely to appear on the show in Series 78.
He is also a competitive Scrabble player and in 2016 attended his first two Scrabble tournaments; his first was the Rotary Open Scrabble Championship of Wiltshire, held on the outskirts of Swindon, followed by Nailsea. He competed in Division B on both occasions and finished 17th and 6th respectively. He uploads "Word of the Week" videos on the Mind Sports Academy website, and is a member of the Association of British Scrabble Players.
His father, Simon, won £8,000 on 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? in 2005.
