Conor Travers was the first player to receive the Richard Whiteley Memorial Trophy, seen here with Des Lynam and Carol Vorderman.
The Richard Whiteley Memorial Trophy is a trophy named in the memory of Richard Whiteley after his death in 2005. Since his death during Series 53, the trophy has been presented to each of the Series Winners since Series 54 (see Series Winners for a list of all the Countdown champions). Each winner has their name engraved on the trophy.
