Rupert Stokoe was a contestant in Series 47, beating Tony Harding in his first game with an impressive score of 117. He followed this up with centuries against Dennis Brown and Julian Lyons and after winning 8 games, returned for the series finals as #5 seed. There he beat #4 seed Wendy Roe on a dramatic crucial conundrum (UNDAUNTED) but couldn't topple the #1 seed Chris Wills in the semi-final, losing 78 - 118. His performances were enought o get him invited back to the Championship of Champions XI, beating Grace Page in the first round, but losing to series 45 champion John Rawnsley in the quarter-finals by just 19 points.
