Sean Fletcher was a finalist in Series 70. He is also an Apterite.
Fletcher began his run with a tie-break conundrum victory over Neil Green, and won 5 more games before losing to Samir Pilica. Returning as number 5 seed for the finals, he once again faced Green, but was not victorious on this occasion.
Fletcher is one of only two finalists in the 15-round era to begin his heat run by defeating a future finalist and end it by losing to another future finalist, the other being Liam Moloney (Series 73).
