Series 78 will be the next series of Countdown, and will most likely run from January 2018 to June 2018. Richard Arnold and Raj Bisram are confirmed guests. Gyles Brandreth is also likely to appear.
A Daily Mirror report in April 2017 confirmed that 260 episodes of Countdown are being ordered for production in 2018; as such, Series 78 is expected to comprise approximately 130 shows. [1]
