Stepdown is a variant on the general Countdown game that is popularly played on Apterous.
The main difference from Countdown is the scoring. Players receive 10 points for any maximums they find in a round. In letters rounds and numbers rounds, the scoring "steps down", so 1 off the max scores 9 points, 2 off the max scores 8 points, and so on. This means that for possible numbers rounds, being 10 away from the target will score 0 points, unlike regular Countdown which scores 5 points. Conundrums are unchanged.
