She has appeared on Countdown over 1700 times since her debut, and has been a permament fixture in Dictionary Corner since series 52, only missing 3 games in series 56 due to illness, when Countdown producer Michael Wylie took over.

Susie returned from maternity leave a couple of episodes into Series 58, and is expected to do the lexicographer work from now on.

Susie is undeniably the ultimate thinking man's crumpet.
