Ironically, when one of the Teapot's relatives Chris ''Phil''pot appeared on the show, he didn't win a Teapot.  But, this was later rectified by a [[Ariane Sherine|very nice lady]].

The Countdown Teapot is a fully working pot designed for brewing the popular hot drink "tea". The outside of the pot is embellished with an attractive design based on the clock used on the show, meaning it also doubles up as an interesting ornament.

This teapot is not available to buy anywhere, but is awarded to winners of at least one television game. These pots have become much sought after over the years, even causing some people to sell theirs at auction - which is not really in the spirit of the game.

Ironically, when one of the Teapot's relatives Chris Philpot appeared on the show, he didn't win a Teapot. But, this was later rectified by a very nice lady.
