Tom Hargreaves was an octochamp and runner up in Series 47. At 16 years old, he was one of the youngest octochamps in the game's history.

He was beaten in the series final by Chris Wills, but returned for Championship of Champions XI. Here he was again beaten by the eventual winner, having three words disallowed in his 83-104 defeat by Graham Nash.
