Winner!!!! is an important and well-loved part of c4countdown lore. When posting words or solutions superior to those found by the show's experts, the subject line should consist only of the word Winner followed by an arbitrary number of exclamation marks. Empirical evidence suggests that an optimal number is 4 to 8.
This brilliant idea was invented by Jon O'Neill on 12 April 2006, in this post.
