The '''Countdown in Milton Keynes Open 2023''' is an upcoming [[co-event]], organised by [[FOCAL]] chairman [[Callum Todd]] and to be hosted by [[Adam Beach]] on the 25 November 2023. It will run concurrently with the [[2023 FOCAL finals]] as an open-style event for those attendees who didn't qualify as one of the top eight finalists.

It will be held at the Novotel in Milton Keynes for the second consecutive year, where attendees will play seven [[9 round format|9-round games]] in the Bristol format. There will be no grand final for this particular tournament, as this will be the championship grand final for the top two players in the finals event; the winner of the open will be the player at the top of the leaderboard once the heat games have concluded.

This event will debut a useful, purpose-built presentation software developed by [[Series 80]] [[octochamp]] [[Fiona Titcombe]], intended to be used at all future Bristol-style events.
