Regulars [[Sean Lock]] and [[Jon Richardson]] were the [[contestant]]s, along with [[Michelle Wolf]] and ''{{w|8 Out of 10 Cats}}'' Regular [[Rob Beckett]] who were their teammates respectively, while [[Jimmy Carr]] reprised his role as the host.

The match saw Jon Richardson, with the assistance of Rob Beckett, winning by {{score|70|16}} in an [[7 round format|7-rounder]] and they won Michelle's emotional support animal, a tarantula. (The original prize was a [[Countdown]] hot tub but was changed after Round 5.)

[[Rachel Riley]] was, as ever, the [[arithmetician]]. The [[Dictionary Corner]] guest was [[Spencer Jones]], and the [[lexicographer]] was [[Susie Dent]].

Interesting and notable moments from the episode are listed below:

1) During the Introduction, Michelle introduced the tarantula and noticeably scared both Jon and Rob that at one point both were standing on their seats.

2) In Round 1, the clock music was replaced by Jimmy's performance of the 3rd Movement of [[wikipedia:The Four Seasons (Vivaldi)|The Four Seasons (Winter)]] by {{w|Antonio Vivaldi}} and afterwards threw the violin into the direction of the audience.

3) In Round 3, Jimmy "sailed" around in a boat asking for both Sean and Rob's declarations, and while doing so accidentally took out a piece of the main table.

''4) In Round 5, similar to the previous two episodes, it was dubbed a Tension Round; points were doubled, the clock music was replaced with a techno version of it coupled with sirens and a voice counting down from ten was heard as well. When the time was up, confetti shot out from behind the contestants, however everyone was prepared as the directors had cheekily set off a blank firing in order to scare Jon earlier. Thus, the maximum was worth a whopping 36 points in this case.''

5) During the 30 seconds in Round 6, Jimmy sat on a makeshift couch but couldn't find the remote for the TV, and as a result "dove" into it and got "stuck" (although he did eventually "find" it.)
