Hi, I see that on a few recaps you've changed the arithmetical symbols from × and ÷ to plain x's and slashes.  Any particular reason?  Or is it just a dummy edit to bring the pages to my attention so that I polish them? :) -- [[User:Smjg|smjg]] 23:24, 15 April 2010 (BST)

The so-called "1000th episode"

James, there is an episode here Episode 1003 which began Series 20, and was made to celebrate 1000 editions of Countdown. None of the round details have been filled in, but they are on Mike's website here: http://www.thecountdownpage.com/1000.htm

Not sure if you want to do this or not, as I am not very good at filling in episode grids, and when I have done them before nobody has come along behind and filled in the maximums etc.

Thanks Vande 10:28, 6 November 2009 (UTC)

Best way to fill in episode grids is to use the recapwriter on cdb, then copy and paste the output into the wiki. All the maxes are done automatically (assuming current dictionary, though). Drawoh 10:31, 6 November 2009 (UTC)
It is slightly hard to do just from that, since I don't have the DC words or methods that were used in numbers games, so it would still be fairly incomplete. JRTerrier24 18:11, 7 November 2009 (UTC)
Well I've attempted it myself now. Round details, with all the letters, declarations, numbers and targets is better than no table at all! Was my first time using the Recap Writer, and although it's quite nice, it would be good if you could alter it for irregular games like this one which have different amounts of numbers rounds, conundrums etc.. Identity

Are you and DJ Pomfret and 80.2.140.146 all the same person? Or do you just work as a team? Vande 20:54, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

Me and DJ Pomfret and the other one are not the same person and we certainly aren't in a team at the moment. JRTerrier24 21:02, 22 November 2009 (UTC)

Specials

Hi James. I see you've put the Kirk v Chris special as episode 4999 on the Series 62 page. It's already set up as episode 26, and should be kept quite apart from the Series 62, as it doesn't form part of the series. I know there are some anomolies earlier, for example when the junior competition has been included within a series, but it's better to get the present set of specials correctly set up. --Drawoh 23:49, 25 February 2010 (UTC)
