Richard Whitehead MBE is a guest on Countdown. He is a retired British paralympic athlete, having won gold at the 2012 and 2016 Paralympic Games in the Men's 200m T42 event, and he has won multiple world championship titles in sprinting between 2011 and 2017. He has also run over 100 marathons, having started running them competitively in 2004.
