Ciarán Dowd was a guest on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. He is a comedian who portrays Don Rodolfo, a 17th century Spanish described as "a total butthead, a shameless libertine and the greatest swordsman the world has ever seen".
Notably in his only appearance to date, he had difficulty adapting to the Spanish accent and unintentionally gave away his Irish accent, causing Jimmy Carr to mock him throughout the show.
